All the Must-See Beauty Looks From the 2025 Met Gala

Cardi B arrived fashionably late in a gorgeous velvet green ensemble that made it worth the wait. On the face, Erika La Pearl covered the rapper’s eyelids in green and black ombre with a dramatic lash while keeping the lower region of her face soft and light pink. The sharp green suit matched the structured cut of her voluminous, blown-out lob.

Marrying elements from Harlem and Paris to create a voluminous ’70s ensemble, Tracee Ellis Ross’s signature red lip and rosy cheeks tied the look together. Her strategically dewy skin was achieved by using L’Oréal staples, including the True Match Super Blendable foundation and concealer, and Lumi Le Glass Highlighter Stick. Hairstylist Chuck Amos slicked her hair in a low bun to peek under her hat using the Pattern Beauty Blow Dryer, Leave-In Conditioner, and Curl Gel.

Doja Cat took us back to the ’40s and ’50s with dramatic pastel eyelids, courtesy of Pat McGrath’s Mothership XII: Petalmorphosis. As for her towering up-do, Vernon François used Olaplex products to nourish Cat’s different hair patterns.

Our eyes immediately gravitated toward Doechii’s hair, which was perfectly fluffed and rounded. Makeup by Chelsea was responsible for the rapper’s berry cheeks and lips. To finish the look, an LV prosthetic logo adorned her cheeks.

Makeup artist Latisha Chancey kept Angel Reese’s look light and flirty with an oxblood lip to complement her full black ensemble. She underpainted using serums from Charlotte Tilbury and Danessa Myricks before adding foundation. She punctuated the look with a dark lip using Fenty Beauty lipsticks and a Sephora Collection lip liner.

Looking for a summer haircut transformation? Serena Williams made the case for a honey blonde finger wave pixie at the Met Gala. The soft blonde hue paired well with Williams’ softer mug, complete with pink blush and subtle dew.

The star product used to create Miley Cyrus’s silky, smoothed-back ponytail was Nexxus’s Slick Stick. Bob Recine Great Lengths Essenza and Aria Tape-In Extensions to the crown of Cyrus’ head before slicking the hair back into a ponytail and braiding it down her back.

All attention went to Jodie Turner-Smith’s sharp, burgundy suit and matching hat, but her deep berry lip was the icing on top. Crafted by Sheika Daily, Turner-Smith’s look called in some of Haus Labs heavyweights, from Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech foundation and concealer to Haus Labs PhD Hybrid Lip Glaze in Fig on the lips.

Kerry Washington kept her makeup soft and delicate to complement her cream ensemble. Her lips were muted, her eyes were enhanced with spikes from mascara, and, of course, soft pink blush adorned her cheeks.

Skin prep is essential for a flawless makeup look, so Carpenter started her prep a few days before the gala, treating her skin with Iván Pol’s The Beauty Sandwich SS02 for a sculpted look. Then on the big day, makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez prepped Carpenter’s skin with LYMA Laser PRO light therapy and Ponds cleanser and moisturizer for added hydration. Carpenter stayed true to her signature blush-heavy complexion and added drama to her lashes using Velour x Carolina Gonzalez Velour-Xtensions™ Self-Stick Lashes.

Andra Day’s look was bright and energetic, thanks to long, ginger waves, mauve eyelids and lips, and an eye-popping hot pink suit.

Makeup artist Diana Shin focused on flawless hydration for Megan Thee Stallion’s beauty with help from Charlotte Tilbury’s bestsellers. Shin used the Airbrush Flawless Foundation as a base and finished with the new Big Lip Plumpgasm for a glossy pout.

A soft coral lip and matte skin anchored Jennie Kim’s dainty Chanel suit.

Underneath her tilted white hat was a face primed, blushed, and matte to perfection—and we have makeup artist Ernesto Casillas to thank. Employing an army of Charlotte Tilbury formulas, Casillas applied the Hollywood Flawless Filter and Beauty Blush Wand to her skin for subtle radiance. A$AP Rocky traded in her shoulder-grazing cornrows for braided finger waves that stole the spotlight.

While it may have been rainy and gloomy outside, Sadie Sink’s beauty provided a breath of fresh air. Her monochromatic look featured soft pink cheeks and lips.

Ava DuVernay’s black-and-white outfit served as the perfect backdrop for her bright red lipstick to shine.

Dimitris Giannetos was inspired by 1940s boudoir and created pin-up curls on one half of her hair, and cascading curls with the other half. Her lips were a muted soft brown shade, and her cheeks were lightly dusted with pink blush.

Pamela Anderson added a touch of pink to her fresh face, keeping her cheeks and lips rosy while leaving the rest of her face bare.
