Like many other A-listers, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker changed out of their Met Gala red carpet looks into something a little more casual (and shorter, in Kardashian’s case) for the evening’s after-parties. The two were photographed en route to a fête, with Kardashian in a houndstooth corset mini dress by Thom Browne. She wore her dark hair down and accessorized with black heels.
On the Met Gala red carpet, Kardashian and Barker were dressier and very affectionate, as usual, both wearing Thom Browne, too. The two kissed in front of cameras, as they have on basically every other major red carpet they’ve walked this year.
Kardashian spoke to ELLE.com about why she has no qualms about showing PDA with Barker so frequently and publicly.
“I think that Travis looks at life in a really special way. Like no one that I’ve known, to where like it’s as if nobody exists,” Kardashian started while promoting her family’s Hulu reality series The Kardashians.
“I can get more shy, but like, it’s helped me so much to be present and pretend like no one else is there,” she added. “And we’ll be like just in the room with people and they’ll say, my mom does it all the time, she’ll be like, ‘Can you guys just gimme a second? Like, can you just stop for one second and talk to me?’ But it’s a really cool thing. And it really helps me stay in the present and like focus on what’s important.”
