In November 2023, White Lotus co-stars Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall confirmed their relationship when they were seen sharing a kiss in New York City. Months later in February 2024, they made it Instagram official to the delight of their fans.
The couple did not really share the screen in season two of the hit HBO show. Fahy played an unhappy wife named Daphne managing life with a philanderer for a husband. Woodall, meanwhile, was a playboy named Jack charged with seducing another young woman away from her boss. But it appears that offscreen, their chemistry led to their own love story blossoming.

February 2022
Fahy and Woodall likely met in February 2022, when production on White Lotus season two began at the Four Seasons San Domenico Hotel in Taormina, Sicily. They don’t appear in the show together because of differing storylines, but it was probably close quarters.
September 2022
Romance rumors began in September that year after Woodall shared a carousel of Polaroid photos on Instagram including most of his castmates. The very first photo is of him and Fahy. Later in the collection, there’s a picture where he has his finger in the actress’s mouth. He captioned the post, “That’s amore.”
She then commented, “I love you! I love these! I love you! 😘♥️” to which he replied, “Love you right back.”
December 2022
In December, Fahy contributed to the Instagram hints with another carousel of photos that included a selfie with Woodall and a pic of him lying on the ground with a camera in hand. There’s also one of him posing in the street while carrying a drink.
“Sizzley Sicily,” Fahy wrote in the caption, and Woodall commented, “💣🐚”
January 2023
In January, Fahy got grilled about the romance rumors while on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. She teasingly replied to a fan question about Woodall by saying, “Oh, I don’t kiss and tell! Come on, guys!”
Host Andy Cohen then added, “It would be delicious. It would be delicious. We would all love it.”
Fahy answered, “You would? For you, I’ll say, sure...I was kidding! Just because you wanted me to say it, so I said it.”
She then insisted they were just friends.
July 2023
They were photographed together at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2023 at the Savoy Hotel in London.
November 2023
On November 21, they made their public debut as a couple in New York City while enjoying a shopping day in rainy weather. The pair was photographed kissing under a shared umbrella, both wearing long warm coats. They reportedly stopped for food at Russ and Daughters and walked around arm-in-arm.
They were seen again the very next day, still in Manhattan and bundled up for the cold. They chatted as they walked down the street but did not stop for any more kisses in front of the cameras.
Soon after the reveal, a source told Daily Mail that the couple had wanted to “shout from the rooftops” about their romance but held back because of the show.
“They are not playing anymore,” the insider said. “At first, when they were starting their relationship, they wanted to keep it private because it was new, and they didn’t know exactly what it was going to become, and they never wanted to disrupt the show and the stories it tells with everyone knowing they were in a real relationship.”
The pair wanted to “get into whatever their relationship was going to be without any pressure,” which would have been hard with all the attention the HBO series was getting.
“Now that they’ve been dating, they’ve really started to fall in love and are very happy to let anyone know how they feel around each other,” the source added. “They are definitely in the shout it out on the rooftops phase of their relationship and love seeing what the next day brings. They really make each other smile.”

Fahy and Woodall attended the Emmys with the White Lotus cast but posed separately on the red carpet. Inside the ceremony, they sat together and kiss. An eyewitness told E!, “Meghann and Leo were super cozy. She rested her head on his shoulder, and he kissed her head. They kept whispering in each other’s ears and laughing. They were being very affectionate.”

Fahy revealed a tiny bit in her Vanity Fair interview about Woodall. The couple had been spending time together in London when she spoke to the outlet.
Fahy kept most of her remarks work-focused but confirmed she wasn’t bothered watching Woodall fall in love with someone else in Netflix’s One Day. Rather, she was in awe of his work. “I thought it was incredibly well done from top to bottom, and obviously the performances were my favorite part,” she said.

The couple was photographed in New York City on November 19, walking arm-in-arm. Woodall was dressed in all black with a puffy jacket and white Nike sneakers. Fahy wore jeans and a brown leather jacket.
