Ana de Armas has arrived at the 2025 Academy Awards, marking her return to one of the most anticipated nights in film after her 2023 nomination for Blonde. This year, the actress is set to take the stage as a presenter, joining a lineup that includes Zoe Saldaña, Scarlett Johansson, Cillian Murphy, and more.
De Armas wore a black column gown with a silver halter neckline on the red carpet. She wore her hair down on a side part and accessorized with a diamond ring and earrings. She posed on her own at the show.
For her last appearance, where she was nominated for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe, she wore a custom silver Louis Vuitton gown that took over 1,000 hours to create.
For the past two years, the Ballerina star has focused on a mix of action and drama projects. In the upcoming John Wick spinoff, she plays Eve Macarro, a trained assassin with a ballet background, set to bring a unique new style of combat to the franchise. “She’s not John Wick,” de Armas told Collider. “We found my own style along the way.”
Outside of film, de Armas has made headlines for moving away from Hollywood to a home in rural Vermont, where she enjoys a quieter life. “I found a home where I really feel off the grid,” she told E!. “I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I found my own little cocoon there.”
