THE RUNDOWN
- Over the past decade, Madison Beer has been romantically linked to Jack Gilinsky, Brooklyn Beckham, Zack Bia, and Nick Austin.
- Most recently, Beer sparked dating rumors with Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in August 2025.
- Beer has described herself as a “lover girl,” telling Cosmopolitan in April 2025, “I love people.”
Madison Beer has been in the public eye since she was 13 years old, when Justin Bieber shared her YouTube cover of Etta James’s “At Last.” Over the past decade, she has built a music career with charting singles, fashion campaigns, and a strong online presence across social media platforms.
Alongside her professional success, Beer has also been open at times about her love life. She has described herself as a “lover girl,” telling Cosmopolitan in 2025, “I love people. I meet someone, I love them. I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m never letting you go. You’ll be with me forever until you hurt me.’ That’s the deal. I think also because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of ‘you’re my boyfriend,’ it feels really big.”
Here’s a look at her complete dating history so far.
Jack Gilinsky
Beer’s first serious public relationship was with Vine star Jack Gilinsky, whom she reportedly met through mutual friend Nash Grier. They started dating in 2015, and Gilinsky confirmed their relationship at the Radio Disney Music Awards. “I haven’t been so open about it, but I don’t know if I’m totally ready to talk about it right now,” he said on the red carpet. “I feel bad because I’ve kept it in a lot, but it is what it is. I’m sorry for anyone that’s mad about it.”
Their relationship ended in 2017 after a recording allegedly surfaced of Gilinsky verbally abusing her. Beer addressed the situation in a now-deleted message to fans, per People:
“Don’t make the same mistakes I did; your safety is never worth it. No matter what, no one deserves to be treated that way,” she wrote.
She continued, “Many of you [have been] asking me, ‘Why would you stay with him if it happened last year!’ My theory was, and as horrible as this is, is that if I left him, he’d do it to the next girl. I tried to fix him.”
Brooklyn Beckham
After her split from Gilinsky, Beer was briefly linked to Brooklyn Beckham in summer 2017.
That July, she addressed dating rumors in an AOL Build Series interview, saying, “He’s great, he’s a cutie, he’s one of my best friends. Which is hard, because now every time I’m seen with him people are like, ‘Oh my god, they’re boyfriend and girlfriend.’”
“But really, we’re seriously best friends,” she added. “We hang out almost every day with our whole group of friends in L.A. together, and he’s moving to New York soon so we’re kind of just having fun right now.”
Zack Bia
Beer began dating DJ Zack Bia in 2018. Their on-and-off relationship ended the following year.
In March 2019, the singer confirmed their split in a since-deleted post on X, writing, “Single Madison thrives,” per People.
Bia reflected on their relationship in a 2023 GQ interview, saying, “There’s so much love there. She’s someone who’s so instrumental in my life, and I still treat as family. Like, she and my mom are still cool.”
Nick Austin
Beer was first linked to TikTok personality Nick Austin in 2020. They made their relationship public in March 2021, when Austin shared a birthday tribute to Beer on Instagram.
“happy birthday to the love of my life, my best friend, my dream girl, my soulmate,” he wrote in a since-deleted post, per Seventeen. “every day with you feels like im dreaming, which i might be. i love you. forever n ever n ever <3.”
Years later, Beer reflected on her relationship with Austin as she prepared to release new music. “I’m a Rising Gemini and Libra Moon. He’s Cancer, Cancer, Cancer,” she told Cosmopolitan in April 2025. “It’s intense and fun, but it’s good. We’ve been together for four years, which is nuts.”
“Neither of us are equipped for whatever the fuck might come,” she added. “But it’s kind of exciting to be like, ‘We’re going to figure all this out, hopefully together.’ Yes, I know he’s going to support me, but do I think that he knows or I know or my parents know or my brother knows how we’re going to feel or go through it if and when that does happen? No.”
By August 2025, breakup rumors began circulating after Beer was spotted with NFL quarterback Justin Herbert, though she and Austin did not publicly address the speculation.
Justin Herbert
In August 2025, Beer was seen with Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert on the set of her music video in Los Angeles. She was photographed introducing him to her crew before leaving in his car.
Neither Beer nor Herbert has commented on whether they are dating, but the sighting has led to speculation about a possible new relationship.
