The fall/winter 2025 New York Fashion Week shows are upon us, along with the week’s many after-parties. Festivities started on February 3, three days before the official start of shows. That evening, Marc Jacobs unveiled his collection—and hosted a post-show bash—at Sloane’s in The Manner, nestled on a quiet block in Soho. That fête brought out Olivia Ponton, Hunter Schafer, and more. In the days since, stars including Zoey Deutch, Apple Martin, and Laura Harrier have stopped at parties across the city.
Deutch, fresh off her Broadway run for Our Town, spoke to ELLE.com about the experience during Longchamp’s garden-inspired dinner for its spring/summer 2025 collection. “There’s a relief and a joy and a gratitude of getting to do what I love for a concentrated period of time instead of it being a start-and-stop, as it is with film—which I also love and feel really grateful to do—but just getting to act for an hour and a half onstage; there’s no stopping, there are no notes, no fixing and changing,” she said. “You just go on and do it. They say film is a director’s medium, TV is a writer’s medium, and theater is an actor’s medium—[being in Our Town] felt very true to me; it was so fulfilling and fun.”
