In the same tradition of the greats who came before her—Kate Moss, Brooke Shields, and I can’t forget to mention that thirst-trapping Jeremy Allen White moment—Lee takes to the streets in a knotted T-shirt and high-cut briefs for the fall 2024 campaign. While, yes, the undies are a staple for the brand’s advertising strategy, these new images, photographed by Mert Alas, are also a reminder that Calvin Klein has always been the smart go-to for wardrobe essentials.
In celebration of Lee’s debut campaign, we caught up with the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actress to find out her favorite seasonal staples from the latest collection. After all, she has quickly become one of my favorite celebrities to watch on and off the red carpet, whether she’s wearing a sculptural Loewe gown or a sheer Christopher Esber blouse. Lee is proof that something as simple as a pair of straight-leg Calvin Klein jeans can be devastatingly chic.

“The ’90s straight jeans are so comfortable,” Lee tells ELLE. “I love the way they fit perfectly around my hips. I could wear these every day! To me, baggy and oversized is very sexy.”
“The Relaxed Trench coat is another timeless chic piece that’s great for transitional dressing,” Lee says. “My all-time favorite fail-proof look is anything with a trench. Can’t go wrong.”
“I felt supported in the modern cotton air bralette and bikini,” Lee adds. “It’s lightweight and breathable bra that I can wear every day as a layering piece. And I love that this is a throwback to the CK bra I wore in high school when my style icons were pop singers of the early aughts like TLC and Aaliyah.”
“The smooth cotton rib sweater set is a wardrobe essential for me,” Lee reveals. “I like that it’s a slim silhouette that feels sleek and body-conscious. Buttoned up and worn over the tank by day and by night, just the cardigan [with] just a single button [fastened].”
“The classic trucker jacket is extra soft and very functional; it’s a wardrobe staple that everyone should have,” Lee suggests. “The thing that makes this so classic is the length, hitting slightly below the waist at the hip.”
“Sheer Marquisette’s all-over lace design strikes the perfect balance between sensual and relaxed,” says Lee. “Effortlessly sexy!”
