I’m not particularly tall (5’5; 5’6 with makeup on), but nevertheless, I love a deep-seated couch. I think all sofas should be wide. Let’s maximize the comfort, right? Granger also notes that if you pay attention to material quality and construction, a good sofa can last many years.
Interior designer Bree Steele adds that these modular sectionals are also great for those who can’t quite make up their minds. “If you have trouble making decisions, [modularity] will be a game changer by getting rid of the need to commit to one style or arrangement for any long periods of time,” says Steele.
