During what was the busiest month of the year (AKA fashion week), you might expect regular front row attendee, brand founder, mother – and now Coperni runway model – to be feeling anything but grounded. But for Kylie Jenner, prioritising self-care and downtime become even more important during times of stress.

'Self-care is so important – no matter how busy I get, I have to make sure I take time for myself. I really consider working out to be a big part of my self-care routine, I try to do it at least 4-5 times a week,' she tells ELLE UK.

On switching off from social media...

'Social media gives me an incredible opportunity to engage with followers, it’s been an amazing tool as I’ve launched my different businesses. I’m at a different stage in my life now than when I first launched Kylie Cosmetics – with two kids, it’s important to me that I’m present with them so I will make sure that I’m disconnecting at points to really be in the moment.'

On becoming a beauty minimalist...

'I’ve recently been embracing a “less is more” philosophy when it comes to glam – I love letting my skin and freckles show through! But I've always seen make-up as a way to show self-expression, and am inspired by my moods or cool visual designs, so I still like to switch it up with my hair and nails.'

On her daily wellness routine...

'I’ve been working out regularly and eating healthy, and I feel amazing.'

On dealing with online criticism...

'I know that I’m in a happy place and I just focus on being the best mother, daughter, sister and friend I can be.'

On how her beauty routine compares to her sisters...

'We definitely all have our own approach to our beauty routines, but I’ve always loved getting beauty advice from my sisters – especially from Kim. It’s so fun to get inspo and tips from her since she’s the one who loves beauty as much as me. Kim and Kourtney were the ones who told me to wear eye cream every day, which is a tip I’ve appreciated as I’ve gotten older! And Khloe is the one who taught me to put sunscreen on my hands.'

The three beauty products she can't live without...

'I love my Kylie Skin Lip Butter – having hydrated, glossy lips makes me happy. I’d also have to say SPF. I’m religious about applying it, and I never leave the house without putting it on my face. I could never live without my fragrance Cosmic, it really makes me feel like my look is completed!'

On the rise of no make-up make-up...

'I love wearing my skin tint when I’m going for a more natural look. It has a skin-like finish; it also blurs and effortlessly blends into the skin. I wanted to create a skin tint that had the lightweight feel and look of a traditional skin tint, but with the performance of a long-lasting foundation. It helps even out your complexion, lasts up to 12 hours, leaves a second-skin finish, and is formulated with skin-loving ingredients that work to improve skin hydration. I’ve been developing it for years, and it has been a secret staple in my makeup routine.'
