This Instagram Artist Reimagines Classic Beauty Icons With 2018’s Botox And Fillers

Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Marilyn Monroe - their timeless beauty has made them icons we look to again and again for inspiration. Whether it's Hepburn's enviable supermodel straight eyebrows, Diana's slicked back pixie crop courtesy of Sam McKnight, or Marilyn's legendary curves and classic red lipstick, their contribution to beauty history is undeniable.

But what if they existed in 2018? Would Audrey opt for a sneaky surgical tweak here and there? Can you imagine Marilyn if she'd enhanced that red lip with some cheeky fillers?

Well, one artist has made our beauty musings a reality. London-based collage artist Mat Maitland is the man behind the seriously extra and totally inspirational Instagram account giving classic beauty icons a 2018 makeover.

Taking old school images, Maitland updates them to fit today's extreme Instagram 'beauty standards'. Think Grace Kelly with super glossy lips plumped unnaturally large, Audrey Hepburn post-jaw shaving surgery, and Princess Diana with a nose job to rival Ashlee Simpson.
