We knew we liked you, Jen.

For the premiere of her new film, The Last Thing He Told Me, the actress donned her newest chin-grazing bob, but put a wet-look spin on the hairstyle. Was she aiming to be trendy or did she just run out of time? That's a secret she'll never tell (well, probably).

The mermaid-esque look was created by Jen's hair bestie, Adir Abergel, who revealed through a carousel of photos, that Jen's hair was perfectly styled for the occasion. Despite the damp appearance, Adir is seen using a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer with its diffuser attachment to keep strands on the wetter side.

To add some oomph to the roots, Adir worked in some of Virtue's Volumizing Mousse into strands. And voilà! That's all there is to it, folks.

It might not be as effortless as we thought upon first glance, but we're officially taking this as Jen giving us the go ahead to normalise running out of the house with freshly showered locks. Our sleep patterns thank you, Jen.
