Penélope Cruz Debuts A Shoulder-Grazing 'Lob' Haircut For 2024

Earlier last week – that's, while we were all a little pre-occupied with the Golden Globes and Jennifer Aniston's new/old Rachel haircut – Penélope Cruz stepped out at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' 14th Annual Governors Awards [9 January, 2024].

For the coveted red carpet event, the actor went all out with a star-studded white tiered gown, however, all-in-all, it wasn't the 'fit that stole the spotlight but her fresh shoulder-length haircut.

Now, a bob haircut is a relatively low-maintenance solution for someone who may struggle to style or tame their hair and it typically reaches between the collarbone and chin-length. In Penélope's case, she and her hairstylist, Pablo Iglesias have opted for the longer of the two short options which is a style we like to call the 'lob'. Aka, a long bob!

Pablo has styled the ends of her tresses inward to create an inverted flicky bob. Flattering and subtle yet still very on-trend.

It's quite the dramatic transformation having waved goodbye to around 5+ inches of hair and we, of course, love to see it!
