If you've been keeping up with the Kardashian supermodel's never-ending rotation of hairstyles of late, you'll know that Kendall Jenner has been experimenting more than ever recently, be it micro-fringes and faux pixie cuts, low-slung ponytails and shaggy micro bobs.
Of course, it's not unusual for the multi-hyphenate to switch up her aesthetic in the name of a new shoot or show, which she proved when walking the Alaïa runway during New York Fashion Week this week, but the model has now taken her experimentation off the runway, debuting what must be her most dramatic hair transformation to date.

Sharing a carousel of seven photos on Instagram, with the caption 'blonded', Jenner has followed in the footsteps of her sister Kim and is now officially in her blonde era. Departing from her signature dark brunette tresses, Jenner revealed her freshly dyed blonde roots, in a shade which forecaster Tom Smith coins as 'sunflower blonde' or sunshine blonde (picture: golden roots which appear to have caught the sun).
'Sustaining from Summer, stronger than ever, this is as warm as a blonde can be before it turns into a copper,' he says. 'Golden shades have been trending for the entire year so far but continue to grow in popularity for autumn,' he adds.
Jenner is among a growing number of famous faces who have made a case for the 'sunshine blonde' trend, from Sabrina Carpenter to Sydney Sweeney, Emma Chamberlain and Rihanna.
'Warmer shades help the hair to look healthier and glow in the light and give the feeling of youthfulness and is a great choice to continue the echo of summer for longer,' says Smith.
If you want to recreate Jenner's hairstyle, Smith has a few notes. 'This shade typically works on naturally warmer skin tones of any depth and can be achieved as an all over colour, or incorporated as part of a highlight or balayage technique if depth and dimension is preferred,' he says.
