Shoulder length hair, once run of the mill has recently had a glam lob overhaul. With everyone from Selena Gomez to Bella Hadid going for the chop this year, medium length lobs are set to still be the hottest 'do in town.
Flattering on basically everyone, it's the cool girl way to work shoulder length hair when you're stuck in that inbetweeny 'I'm growing out my hair but I've got no idea what to do with it' rut.
'Lobs are here to stay,' confirms hairstylist to the stars Jen Atkin. 'It looks good on just about any face shape. Christy Turlington is such a major inspiration for this look; she has an iconic photo of her lob being curled inwards which was a big trend last year. I think for 2022, it’s more of a relaxed feel, minimal texture and slightly smooth. It should be simple as 2022 has been so complicated and we need simplicity these days, anyway we can get it.'
