London Fashion Week is back for the autumn/winter 2025 season and we could not be more excited. Running from February 20-24, this edition marks Caroline Rush's last as CEO of the British Fashion Council, and industry insiders are flocking to the capital for the occasion.
Things are set to be as fresh and fabulous as ever, with big-hitters like Burberry, Erdem, Roksanda and Simone Rocha set to hold star-studded in-person shows, while buzzy designers Dilara Findikoglu, SS Daley and Conner Ives are also returning to the schedule.
As for the hot new names to look out for? Jawara Alleyne and Talia Byre, who are both making their official on-schedule debuts, ELLE UK's inaugural Generation Next bursary winner Pauline Dujancourt, and Daniel Fletcher's first collection for Chinese label Mithridate.

Happily, all this isn't just reserved for fashion editors. This season, some of the best LFW shows are also open to the public thanks to Instagram livestreams. When Is London Fashion Week?
London Fashion Week takes place twice a year in February and September, showcasing more than 250 designers to a global audience of influential media and retailers. Having celebrated its 40th birthday last season (and in serious style, we might add), London Fashion Week is back for the autumn/winter 2025 season, taking place from February 20-24, 2025. What Else Is Going On?
As usual, the British Fashion Council has confirmed that its ultra-popular LFW City-Wide Celebration programme of events will return this season, running alongside the official schedule from February 20-24.
With hundreds of events to chose from, there is something for every fashion lover on offer. COS is hosting a 20% discount shopping event, Alo has wellness activations and classes in its various London stores, the likes of Joseph, Russell & Bromley and Rixo are offering special gifts with purchases, NOW Gallery is putting on a special sustainable fashion exhibition, and Dylon is launching a laundrette-themed pop-up with masterclasses to help guests revive old items from their wardrobes. The detergent brand has also partnered with Roksanda to renew and reimagine three looks from her archive, that will be unveiled during her catwalk show.
Plus, for the first time ever, there will be an official London Fashion Week shop opening at 245 Regent Street, selling archive collections from some of the most iconic designers in town. Stop by between 22-24 February to browse and buy exclusive items from the likes of 16Arlington, Conner Ives, Johanna Parv, Saul Nash and CompletedWorks, while also enjoying free drinks, panel discussions, sustainability workshops and more.

The Places To Refuel And Rest
Every LFW-goer needs to eat properly, and maybe even rest their heads occasionally – even if most lunches are hastily grabbed between shows and sleeps brief between after parties and early morning presentations. It's worth carving out some more time for yourself to visit these catwalk-ready bars, hotels and restaurants, however – and you might spot some fashionable faces over your starters, too.
LPM
No matter the weather outside, it's always sunny at La Petite Maison. Tucked away in a quiet Mayfair mews, the cult French Riviera-inspired restaurant has become a go-to for those seeking a moment's respite from the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week – not to mention London's less-than-ideal climes. Here, you can imagine you're living it up on the Côte d'Azur as you tuck into fresh seafood, plump tomatoes drizzled in olive oil, truffle-topped burrata and all manner of fabulous Mediterranean fare. The carafes of crisp rosé and never-ending stream of LPM's signature Tomatini cocktails certainly help with the escapist fantasy, too. 53-54 Brook's Mews, London W1K 4EG
The Dorchester
The Dorchester is the perfect central London base during LFW, since it's smack bang in the middle of Mayfair, the height of five-star luxury, a home-from-home for countless famous faces, and the location for this season's Edeline Lee and Huishan Zhang shows to boot. You'll inevitably spot a few models and show-goers sipping cocktails at the recently refurbished Vesper Bar, treating themselves to a late-night meal at The Grill, or heading to the sprawling spa for a spot of well-deserved pampering. 53 Park Lane, London W1K 1QA
818 x Ixchel
If you find yourself in dire need of a tequila (or three) after a hard day's LFW-ing, make sure it's at Ixchel on the King's Road. The glitzy Southern Mexican restaurant has joined forces with supermodel Kendall Jenner and her brand 818 Tequila to launch a special cocktail just in time for the event. The Angel Moon Paloma is inspired by two of Mexico's most popular drinks, featuring a fresh combination of hibiscus, grapefruit and lime that tastes like spring in a glass. 33H King's Rd, London SW3 4LX
China Tang
The fashion set might be all about the hot and the new, but even they can't resist the allure of one of London's most iconic eateries. Some 20 years since first opening its doors on Park Lane, China Tang is every bit the glamorous hotspot it's always been – but during Fashion Week, even more so. Once the bi-annual event rolls around, the restaurant transforms into a hub of fashion-world activity, as supermodels, celebrities and tastemakers alike descend on the decked-out dining room to get their fill of dim sum and the legendary Peking duck. 53 Park Ln, London W1K 1QA
The Way To Prep
Don't be fooled into thinking you need a brand-new wardrobe of designer labels to make your mark at LFW. Most editors keep it classic in trusty staples: the blazer that goes with everything, a statement bag that shows they understand (and set) the trends, plus boots, trainers or ballerinas that will take them from show to show – so you don't need to prep by going shopping.
That said, if you're looking for a little something to spruce up your look, we'd recommend opting for rental or resale to keep things circular. Fashion editors' go-tos? eBay for its epic selection of pre-loved designer bags and rare runway pieces, and ByRotation's new Brook Street store that's packed with enough high-octane party looks to see you through all the week's glitzy events in style.
Considering editors are mostly seated cheek-by-jowl on the front row, then dashing between shows or crowding into chauffeur-driven cars, the chances of precious clothing items becoming horrendously wrinkled and coffee stained are high. Preparing for the worst by carrying a stain spot treatment pen, plus luxury laundry care brand Kair's finishing spray, which helps to de-crease clothes and revitalise them with a fresh scent, is essential.
As for beauty prep, you'll find editors clamouring for an appointment at Neville's for the best blow-dries in town, The Dorchester Spa for Natura Bissé facials, and Townhouse for fresh manis guaranteed to last all week long. And when the madness is all over, there's no better place to decompress and recover than in the magical surroundings of Aire Ancient Baths.
The Way To Get Around
Public transport, though great, isn't so easy (or fun) in a pair of Versace's vertiginous platform heels – especially when you've got an eight-show-per-day kind of schedule, with venue changes in between. As such, most editors push the boat out with a private car to see them through London Fashion Week. If you're going to be 'extra' about your travel plans, now is surely the time. This year, the ELLE editors will be ferried around in chauffeur-driven, Mercedes-Benz S 580 e AMG Line Premium Plus hybrid saloon cars complete with ELLE branding – so make sure to keep an eye out for us around town.
