Ever thought that you'd be a good spy?
Well, you might have competition as the Max Mara SS20 runway show at MFW just proved that supermodels might make the best sleuths, what with their steely stares, unparalleled athleticism and no-nonsense attitudes.
On Thursday, a troop of the fashion industry’s most in-demand models took to the runway in the Italian city to form the all-girl group of dreams, wearing an array of Wednesday Addams 2.0-inspired office wear and G.I. Jane pastel-coloured caps and gowns.

Think of it as the Killing Eve, Charlie's Angels meets St Trinian's sartorial inspiration you didn't know you needed.
First up was Kaia Gerber, who was spotted strutting down the runway wearing a three-piece grey checkered suit consisting of a trench coat, waistcoat and high-waisted shorts.
The look was styled with a pair of black knee-high socks and Mary Janes heels, a gothic almost-black lip and her new blunt brown bob.
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and Doutzen Kroes looked near identical in coordinated utilitarian grey-hued suits, wearing their hair in matching pigtail plaits.
Bella Hadid soon added a splash of colour to the grey-coloured catwalk wearing a sky-blue shirt with oversized pockets and a matching tie, a light grey trench coat and darker coloured suit trousers.
For the show’s finale, Gerber joined the Hadid sisters, Swanepoel, Kroes and Joan Smalls dressed in an ice cream colour palette of vest top dresses in shades of grey, purple and yellow.
The gowns each featured myriad styles at the back, ranging from Bella's racer back to Kaia's sporty utility belt.
The model moment was reminiscent of last year’s Versace show, when 90s ‘Supers’ Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Helena Christensen and Elle Macpherson took to the catwalk in slinky, slip-inspired gold dresses.
Days after Burberry, Prada and Alberta Ferretti showed that hats – specifically fisherman style - are the ‘must-have’ accessory for SS20, the models wore army-style caps that coordinated in colour with their outfits, giving a Lara Croft twist to the elegant evening looks.
Ahead of the show, the luxury fashion brand teased its spy school-inspired runway on Instagram, sharing a black and white recording of a typewriter with a printed invitation of the details of the show, adding that it was ‘for your eyes only’.
The fashion house later shared videos fit for a Killing Eve episode featuring a mapped location of the show – which took place at Bocconi University - and photos ‘taken undercover’ at the show location.
