When we think of the naked dress trend, we think Hadid, Jenner and Kardashian.

The dress featured a thigh-high split, slight cowl neck and a super low back.

'We wanted to celebrate Saoirse’s femininity, while being powerful and a little bit sexy,' Ronan's stylist Elizabeth Saltzman told Vogue about the Atonement star's choice of dress. 'You don’t think of Saoirse showing skin...[and] this was all about showing skin.'

Alongside the daring dress the Ladybird star wore sparkling strappy heels, fine diamond structured earrings and her blonde hair in a sleek side-parted lob which featured old Hollywood waves.

Her make-up was also deceptively naked, with the dewiest of skin and a flush of pink eyeshadow across her lids.

Of course, the Bronx-born beauty wasn't the only one who opted for a naked dress for the Golden Globes.

Gwyneth Paltrow also joined in the fun, by wearing a completely sheer gown.

Under the voluminous, dusty-hued organza dress the The Politician star and executive producer wore just a bra and pair of pants, proving Paltrow has certainly still got it.
