‘It’s truly an honour to have been selected as the winner of ELLE UK’s inaugural Generation Next Prize, I am so excited and deeply appreciate the recognition and the support it represents as I continue to grow my brand,’ says Dujancourt.
After graduating from a knitwear MA at Central Saint Martins in 2022, Dujancourt has carved out her own space in London’s brimming creative class of female designers. Making her London Fashion Week debut for SS25, she has garnered attention for her new take on intricate textile processes, such as crochet and hand knitting, which have placed her fore of the recent surge in young brands seeking to preserve traditional craft techniques.
Her delicately woven designs are handmade by an all-female collective in Peru, in a collaboration that highlights her dedication to preserving artisanal traditions while empowering local artisans.
Kenya Hunt, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE UK, is excited to see how her distinct vision and commitment to craft, shape the future of British fashion.
'During a year in which we have seen so much flux and change within the fashion industry, it’s an honour to support our homegrown designers,' she says.
