Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in Sussex today, marking their first visit as Duke and Duchess of the county with a trip to Edes House in Chichester.
As thousands of people lined the streets of West Sussex, awaiting the pair's arrival, the newlyweds stepped out to greet their well-wishers.
Dressed in an Armani cream trench coat (similar available here), the Duchess looked prepared for the blustery autumnal British weather, teaming her look with a & Other Stories green silk shirt, a midi-length green leather skirt by Boss, a Gabriela Hearst satin tote, and cream-coloured heels.

She accessorised her outfit with several items of jewellery from one of her favourite UK-based jewellery brands, Missoma, including a gold mantra open heart signet ring, a double chain bracelet, and a rainbow moonstone beaded leaf bracelet.
Keeping her make-up simple and glossy, Meghan scooped up her hair in a low chignon - a staple hair do for the Duchess during several public engagements in recent months - with a few loose curls framing her face.

During their tour of Sussex, Meghan and Harry will be meeting with members of the public, and visiting key landmarks in the region.
Their first visit of the day is to Edes House in Chichester, where the pair will see Sussex's rare handwritten copy of the Declaration of Independence. It was recently verified as being authentic, with the only other copy being held in Washington D.C., so will be of great significance to US-born Meghan.
The royals will also visit Bognor Regis on the South Coast of England to open the University of Chichester's new Technology Park, before heading to The Joff Youth Centre in Peacehaven.

At the end of the day, the couple will visit Brighton Survivors' Network, a charity founded by female survivors of sexual abuse.
According to its website, the organisation ‘offers a range of professional relevant services to survivors of any gender aged 14+ who have experienced any form of sexual violence.’
The pair's visit to Sussex comes weeks before their first overseas tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga.
