It's been a year since actresses showed solidarity for the Time's Up movement by wearing black on the Golden Globes red carpet. Twelve months on, the colourful gowns returned but support of the campaign, which aims to end sexual harassment in the workplace, was still pervasive last night.
A number of actresses wore either a ribbon or bracelet branded with 'Time's Up X 2', a quiet but clear nod to the movement. Designed by stylist Arianne Phillips, who designed 2018's Time's Up pins, the latest sartorial statement pledges to "double the number of women in leadership and across other spaces where women are underrepresented".
Some stars tied the ribbons round their wrist, including Sandra Oh, Amber Heard and Claire Foy, while others attached them to clutch bags, such as Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway and Laura Dern.
