And the capsule was inspired by another fabulous woman, too. 'I had Tilda Swinton and her daughter Honour in my thoughts while I was designing this collection,' says Cave. 'Tilda is and will always be my superhero: brave, bold and brilliant.'
Top of our wish list and particularly superhero-worthy? The black velvet and silk cape: it's 'dark, dangerous and pure vampire', as Cave puts it, and it's helping us look forward to autumn/winter just that little bit more.
'I envision these pieces being worn on any night that involves riotous celebration and plenty of mischief,' says Cave. Just add sky-high heels and plenty of attitude, and the rest will naturally follow.
