Nensi Dojaka Has Just Dropped A Fun And Colour-Filled Summer Capsule Collection For Mytheresa

While Paris and Milan are all about the big name heritage brands, each season the fashion world looks to London to discover the hot young designers of tomorrow. London Fashion Week is known for championing the next big thing before anybody else: Simone Rocha, Kim Jones and Jonathan Anderson all started out with incubator programme Fashion East before making their way onto the official show schedule.

The 28-year-old Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka follows in their footsteps as one of the biggest breakout stars of LFW in recent years, known for her super strappy, sheer, lingerie-inspired pieces which won her last year's coveted LVMH prize – and hordes of celebrity fans. Everyone from Emily Ratajkwoski and Zendaya to Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid have worn her designs, which perfectly capture the post-pandemic mood for more daring, sexy dressing after months spent in loungewear.

Now, the designer has created an exclusive capsule collection for Mytheresa to bring her lingerie-inspired aesthetic to the so-called 'hot girl summer' of 2022 – and we are drooling over every single piece. Moving away from her signature shades of black, nude and burgundy, Dojaka's Resort '22 collection marks her first with bold colours: cut-out dresses in pink, yellow and turquoise bring an element of Nineties nostalgia, which is bang on trend for the season.

'I'm increasingly experimenting with colour in my collections and it's a very nice way to show off these designs in a less severe way, but instead in a more approachable way. I love colours for having an opposite effect to black and having their own voice,' says Dojaka.
