Weeks after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, two of Markle’s dearest friends have revealed their favourite parts of the big day.
Gabriel Macht and Sarah Rafferty were two of the 600 guests invited to the joyous ceremony at St George’s Chapel on the 19th May, and also attended the even more exclusive reception and party the same evening.
After working with the American actress from season 1 to 7 of Suits, the two 45 year-olds, who play Harvey Spector and Donna Paulson respectively, have become close to the current Duchess. Rafferty is particularly close with Markle and was rumoured to be a bridesmaid in the months leading up to the nuptials.

Now, the two actors have spoken out about their favourite moments of the big day.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Rafferty gushed, ‘It was a wonderful moment to get to see [Meghan] on that day and in that moment, it was special.’
She divulged, ‘Seeing [Meghan] walk in on her own, in that moment before she met up with Prince Charles to walk the rest of the way, that was amazing.’
For Macht, however, it was the party that really stuck in his mind. Most notably Elton John’s performance.
He told ET, ‘It was surprising to see Elton John play 'I'm Still Standing’, that was an incredible moment. It was a remarkable day, to go and support her, and meet the Royal family - it was an amazing time.’
He added, And I think, overall, just to be a part of such an uplifting story, you know?…A story of inclusion, love ...and there's so much stuff out there that's so depressing and dark. This was just a remarkable day to go and support her and the royal family and it was an amazing time.’
What a way to celebrate your friend.
