Capitalising on the fun of multiple celebrations, the newlyweds travelled to North Carolina (Jonas' home state) for the US leg of their nuptials, stopping into the small town of Belmont for a good old Southern feast. In stark contrast to the luxurious Taj Palace Hotel from their first wedding reception in New Delhi, the couple celebrated their marriage at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, the restaurant owned by Jonas' family.
According to E!, a sign inside the venue read, 'Nick and Priyanka just got hitched but that knot that they tied has not been dipped in gravy or honey or hot chicken grease. So it's time we throw them a Nellie's Southern feast. Mama and Papa invite you with pride to come celebrate their boy and his bride.' Cute.
Having worn an array of dramatic embellished dresses, including a champagne-hued traditional lehenga designed by Falguni Shane Peacock, for her previous weddings, Priyanka opted for something a little more understated for the casual affair.
