At the BAFTAs this year, Margot Robbie stole the show when she read out a speech written by Brad Pitt.
The actor accepted the Best Supporting Actor gong on behalf of her Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood co-star, explaining that Pitt was not able to make the ceremony due to 'family obligations'.
It's now been reported that Pitt skipped the ceremony to be with his daughter, who was recovering from surgery at the time.

In his place at the BAFTAs, Robbie delivered Pitt's hilarious speech which referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepping down as senior royals (in front of Prince William and Kate Middleton no less) and Brexit.
During the 2020 awards season, where Pitt tended to win at every event he attended - including the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Oscars - the 56-year-old amassed a reputation for his witty no-holds-barred acceptance speeches.
Speaking to ELLE UK just days before she stood in his place, Robbie told us of her reaction at her co-stars speeches and how she wanted him to continue winning, for the speeches as much as anything.
'They've been so funny,' a laughing Robbie responded. 'I actually couldn't believe his SAG award speech. I was quite taken aback but I was p****ng myself laughing.
'He's a clever guy. Also, what he said at the Golden Globes was really sweet. He has a way of delivering it with such nonchalance, like it just occurred to him in the moment, but no one else can pull off but him...'
