On Tuesday evening, unconfirmed reports circulated that Gigi Hadid was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Zayn Malik.
The first report came from celebrity news machine TMZ, which cited 'family sources' revealing the apparent pregnancy and providing sparse details, including that she is apparently '20 weeks along', that the couple don't know the sex yet and that both of their families are 'very excited'. To overstate the point - neither Zayn, nor Gigi, nor their reps have confirmed that these rumours are true.
Naturally, though, fans of 'Zigi' - the on-off picture-perfect A-List couple of four years - went wild for the rumours. And that's no exaggeration. There was glee about the fact that the couple seem so happy since reuniting at the end of last year, along with speculation over what a baby combined with both of those beautiful genes might look like.

However, the model and presenter quickly realised that fans often take another celebrities' message as gospel, especially since Teigen and Hadid are known to have hung out in the past.
So the star quickly followed up to admit that, just like the rest of us, she has no insider information and 'read TMZ just like all [of] you'.
So far, as we've said, neither Hadid or Malik have responded to the rumours, with the former One Direction star's representatives declining to comment when approached by Entertainment Tonight. So far, all we have is a series of anonymous 'sources,' which appear to vary in the details they've expressed (for example, with some suggesting Hadid is '20 weeks along,' which would be half way through her pregnancy, while others have said she is 'only a few months').
What we do know is that Malik has joined Hadid, her sister Bella and mother Yolanda on their family farm during quarantine. Over the weekend, Gigi Hadid turned 25 and celebrated with a bagel cake, big balloons and a lot of flowers from celebrity friends like Taylor Swift.
The model - who only a few months back in February completed runaway appearances in New York, Milan and Paris - shared a montage of photos from her birthday weekend on Instagram on Monday including a lovely family snap of herself sandwiched between Malik and her younger sister.
