Cinematic icons Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have agreed to reunite, much to the excitement of fans.

They's both signed on to a high-concept action movie titled Ghosted.

The Hollywood Reporter states that it's been announced that Rocketman director Dexter Fletcher is calling the shots on this one, with Zombieland duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick on script duties.

Ghosted is the latest star-studded project to come from Apple Studios, which has Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon in production right now too.

Elsewhere in Captain America star Evans's diary, he recently wrapped shooting on Netflix's The Gray Man opposite Ryan Gosling, with his Avengers colleagues Joe and Anthony Russo in the director's chair.

Johansson's casting in an untitled Wes Anderson flick was confirmed this month, alongside Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray and Rupert Friend.

She also married Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost during the pandemic, which was "weird".

"Obviously we wanted to take all the precautions that we could, so we had the masks and everybody had to get [COVID-19] tests like 100,000 times.

"Even though it was small and intimate, it was beautiful and we were so happy to see people that we hadn't seen in such a long time. We just felt very fortunate to be able to get together like that," she recalled.

"It felt like it was sort of how it was supposed to be... minus face masks."
