Harry Styles really does know how to send his fans wild – this time, it took just one snap and a TBT outfit ref invoking the glory days of One Direction to send fans into freakout mode.
On Sunday (5 March), Harry took to his Instagram story to share a snap of himself working out, while wearing a One Direction t-shirt.
The shirt is from the band’s Up All Night tour that took place in 2012 and features a picture of him and his former bandmates - Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne.

He deleted the post quickly after, but that didn’t stop fans taking to Twitter to share their very emotional reactions.
'OH MY GOD STOP IT RIGHT NOW. HARRY STYLES IS WEARING A ONE DIRECTION SHIRT. I’M NOT OKAY RIGHT NOW. MY ONE DIRECTION HEART RIGHT NOW. SCREAMING, CRYING AND THROWING UP,' wrote (or should we say, screamed) one fan.
'Y’all don’t understand the effect this Harry Styles gym selfie in a 1D t-shirt has had on me,' wrote another.
'Walked out of hot yoga to learn Harry Styles posted and deleted in a One Direction shirt,' wrote another with a very relatable reaction meme.
Harry also referenced One Direction during his speech at the 2023 Brit Awards last month as he won British Artist of the Year.
'I want to thank my mum for signing me up for X Factor without telling me, so I literally wouldn't be here without you,' he said.
'I want to thank Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn because I wouldn't be here without you either. Thank you so much.'
As a One Direction reunion seems less and less likely, we’ll hold on closely to these throwbacks to the band’s glory days.
