Emma Corrin has joined the cast of Disney+’s new Gen Z whodunnit TV series, A Murder At The End Of The World, which is the brainchild of The OA’s Brit Marling.
Formerly known as Retreat, the seven episode series is a twist-laden murder mystery set in a high-end getaway, which sounds perfect for fans of The White Lotus and Nine Perfect Strangers.
According to the show’s official synopsis, amateur sleuth and hacker Darby Hart (Corrin) is invited to attend a retreat 'at a remote and dazzling location', hosted by a reclusive billionaire, alongside eight other guests.

The synopsis continues: ‘When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life.’
Corrin, whose portrayal of Princess Diana in season four of The Crown won them both Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards for Best Leading Actor in a Drama Series, will star alongside Triangle Of Sadness star Harris Dickinson, Coming 2 America’s Jermaine Fowler, Dopesick’s Raúl Esparza and We Are Who We Are’s Alice Braga. Marling, who has written, produced and directed the show alongside her longtime collaborator Zal Batmanglij, is also set to play a key role in the mystery.
Corrin's star has continued to ascend since their appearance in Netflix's serialisation of the royal family. The actor has received praise for their recent starring roles, which have included appearances in Netflix’s adaptation of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, queer romance My Policeman, as well as a handful of acclaimed plays, including Orlando, based on Virginia Woolf’s classic novel of the same name.
A Murder At The End Of The World will be making its way to Disney+ at the end of August, with the first two episodes arriving on 29 August. A new instalment will then be released each week.
