Moments after they said 'I do', newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their way down the aisle to greet the public who were eagerly awaiting their appearance outside the Chapel.

Wearing a crisp white dress designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, the former actress and newest member of the Royal family smiled as the pair greeted well-wishers outside of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Following in the tradition of Prince Charles and lady Diana and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge before them, the couple kissed for the public.

And it was too cute. After a ceremony that discussed how important love was and included more than a few emotional looks between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, their first public kiss had a sense of authenticity about just how in love the happy couple are.

The couple then descended the chapel steps to start their open carriage procession around the streets of Windsor, waving to the masses of people lining the streets to celebrate their union.

On Buckingham Palace's front-facing balcony at the 2011 royal wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge presented themselves for a much-anticipated kiss.

The first was brief and encouraged the crowds below to immediately begin chanting: ‘Kiss again! Kiss again!’

And, of course, the newlyweds obliged.
