The reports follow Thomas's recent claims that he had experienced a change of heart, following a 'staged' photo scandal, and wanted to walk his daughter down the aisle at St George's Chapel after all, providing he received the all-clear from doctors.
'I hate the idea of missing one of the greatest moments in history and walking my daughter down the aisle,' he reportedly told the publication.
However, it is now unknown when Markle Sr will be discharged from hospital and widely believed he will be unable to attend the forthcoming nuptials.
Over the weekend, it was first suggested Meghan's father wouldn't be attending the wedding after he was left feeling 'deeply embarrassed' after 'staging' recent paparazzi photos.
The Mail on Sunday recently published CCTV images and interviews with staff at an internet cafe and a make-shift tailors in Mexico, alleging that recent 'candid' pictures of him were staged with the help of photographers.
The former lighting director reportedly told TMZ he meant no harm to Meghan or the Royal Family when he made a deal to allow a photo agency to take pictures of him preparing for the royal wedding.
We're glad to hear Meghan's father is recovering well ahead of the royal wedding on Saturday.
