Rihanna's muse Slick Woods may have just had the most fashionable labour in the history of New York Fashion Week.

TMZ reports the model - who walked in RiRi's Savage x Fenty fashion show on Wednesday night - went into labour immediately after she stepped off the runway.

I mean, that's one way to go 'out' in style.

The publication reports paramedic arrived at the show, which featured not one but two pregnant models, and took the 22-year-old model to the nearest hospital to welcome her first child with her boyfriend, model/musician Adonis Bosso.

While Woods is yet to confirm the birth (her last post on Instagram Stories was a video of her walking the runway in thigh-high stockings and nipple stickers), TMZ reports the baby is a boy and will be named Saphir.

However, a stylist friend of the model, Chalyn Melendez, later posted a clip of Woods in the Fenty show with the caption: 'Queen walked right into labour last night like.'

During the catwalk presentation, Slick - who previously told ELLE UK she planned for singer Erykah Badu to be her doula - teamed her one-piece with nude thigh-high socks, heels, a black headband, and thick silver hoops. Now, this is the kind of maternity fashion we're into.

In an interview with ELLE following the runway success, Rihanna explained her decision to include expecting mothers like Woods in her show.

'Slick and I have been working non-stop throughout her pregnancy from Fenty x Puma to Fenty Beauty—I promise you,' she said.

'I’m not the type to judge any woman about any part of her womanhood, especially motherhood because that’s like the VIP of womanhood. Bringing a life into the world is no joke.'

Opening up about her concept for the show, the singer-turned-designer revealed it was about celebrating women with 'different energies, different races, body types, different stages in their womanhood, culture'.

'I wanted women to feel celebrated and that we started this shit,' she explained. 'We own this. This is our land because really it is. Women are running the world right now and it’s too bad for men.'

Rihanna, we bow down.
