Weeks after disappearing from the limelight to embark on a six-week break with their son Archie Harrison, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are preparing to send out their official Christmas cards.
Despite posting regularly on their Instagram account @sussexroyal during their holiday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t been seen in any public capacity since Remembrance Sunday last month.
However, it’s believed that the couple will be sharing their festive cards any day this week - with a twist.

A source has told E! News that the couple plan to include a ‘selection of family photographs’ taken with their seven-month-old son, and a few might include Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

The decision will break from royal tradition, given that neither Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, have ever appeared in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Christmas card photos.
The family-of-three are rumoured to have spent the Thanksgiving period and lead up to Christmas with Ragland and in the US, however it is still unknown whether the Sussexes will remain Stateside or come back to the UK for December 25.
That said, the Palace recently confirmed that they will not be seen at Sandringham, Norfolk with the rest of the royal family this year.
‘Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess' mother Doria Ragland,’ a spokesperson stated last month.
The statement also noted: ‘This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.’
William and Kate missed the annual royal tradition in 2012, choosing instead to spend Christmas with the Middletons.
