Months after splitting from her ex husband Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus is joking about their brief eight-month marriage.
Last December, the couple enjoyed a vegan wedding at her Tennessee home for which the 27-year-old dressed in a Vivienne Westwood gown.
In August, the couple confirmed rumours that they had parted ways after less than a year of marriage, before Cyrus went onto date influencer Kaitlynn Carter and Hemsworth was believed to have embarked on a romance with actress Maddison Brown.

On Friday, the ‘Mother’s Daughter’ singer joked about the couple’s shortly-lived marriage in the comments of an Instagram post made by The Most Famous Artist, which is run by Matty Mo.
After the Instagram user wrote about wanting to marry the singer in 2020, Cyrus responded by saying their marriage ‘probably won’t last long’, presumably referencing her marriage to the Hunger Games actors.
Mo’s post included a screenshot of a bio that suggested he wanted to marry Cyrus in 2020 with a message that read: ‘Upping my manifestation game for 2020 and putting this out there.'
Cyrus replied: 'It probably won't last long [engagement ring emoji]. But always down to try, you miss 100 per cent of the shots you don't take.'
Following their split, Hemsworth said he wished his ex wife 'health and happiness' in a post on Instagram, adding: ‘This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets.’
The star has since been spotted in public with Brown and, most recently, model Gabriella Brooks.
Meanwhile, Cyrus is currently in a relationship with singer Cody Simpson, with the pair rumoured to be launching new music together imminently.
In November, Cyrus’ ex Carter opened up for the first time about her relationship with Cyrus, describing it as a ‘profound journey of self-discovery.'
In August, the singer was photographed on holiday in Italy with Carter, prompting rumours the pair were an item.
Writing an essay for ELLE, Carter admitted that she fell hard for the singer.
‘This past July, I went on vacation with a female friend; the next thing I knew, I was in love with her,’ Carter begins her letter.
‘It wasn’t quite that simple, of course. But it also wasn’t very complicated, either.’
