During the coronavirus pandemic, the Duke of Cambridge has being staying in Anmer Hall, Norfolk with his wife, Kate Middleton, and three children – George, 6, Charlotte, 4, and Louis, 2.

On Tuesday, the 37-year-old revealed that when he’s not on Zoom calls with his other half, he’s in the kitchen with his family.

During his first public appearance since the health crisis began in the UK in March, the royal visited ambulance workers in Norfolk and opened up about life at home, revealing a very relatable thought that's troubling him at the moment.

‘I'm worried about the waistline of the nation as well with all the chocolate and cakes,’ he told the workers. ‘I've done a lot of baking at home. Chocolate goes down very well.’

We hear you, Wills. If we’re not tucking into the Digestive biscuits with our right hand, our left is often lingering over a bag of discount white chocolate cookies.

William recently spoke abut his love of chocolate at Easter during a video call with school children in March.

‘There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here, don't worry!’ he said of the holiday.

‘You keep eating it!’ Kate joked in response.

The royal couple regularly share news of their cooking triumphs and playtime with their children at home.

Opening up about parenting her little ones, Kate told the BBC in April: ‘The children have got such stamina, I don’t know how.

‘Honestly, you get to the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things that you’ve done in that day.

'So, you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day — they have had a lovely time — but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day that's for sure.’
