Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly took their relationship to the next level this month, officially becoming engaged as of January 2022. While the pair seem totally loved up, Megan's ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, has apparently shared his response to the engagement news.

MGK, 31, and Megan, 35, publicly announced their engagement on 12th January after a year and a half of dating, sharing the news alongside a video of the musician proposing.

Meanwhile, the actress and 90210 star Brian, who began dating in 2004, announced their split back in May 2020.

Now, Brian's reported thoughts about Megan and MGK's engagement have been revealed, and seems like he's not too bothered about the whole thing. A source told Entertainment Tonight that Brian, 48, 'couldn't care less' about the couple's engagement news.

The insider went on, 'He [Brian] doesn't have any lingering romantic feelings for Megan or any anger. Brian is happy for her, but it really isn't affecting him one way or the other. There's no bad blood or ill will between them at this point.'

The source went on to add that Brian 'mainly feels indifferent towards [the engagement] and is just glad [he and Megan] are co-parenting well together'.

Brian confirmed his split from Megan back in May 2020, before the actress went on to file for divorce in November of the same year. They first began dating in 2004 and have three children together, Noah Shannon, nine, Bodhi Ransom, seven, and Journey River, five.

Megan and Brian first got engaged in 2006 but called it off in 2009, before eventually getting married in 2010. The pair split again five years into their marriage, with Megan filing for divorce. However, they got back together the following year, in 2016, and Megan had the first divorce petition dismissed.

As of 2020, the pair appeared to split for good, with rumours of a relationship between Megan and Machine Gun Kelly surfacing around the same time.

As for where Megan and MGK are at now, a source told ET, 'Megan really centres MGK and grounds him. MGK's life can be chaotic and all over the place, but Megan brings out his calmer side. She is a really humbling force for MGK, especially when he's on the road or making music.'

Discussing Kelly, the insider added, 'He feels like she is the thing that he can go home to at the end of the day and feel at peace with. They're both very happy together and can't wait to start their lives together and get married.'
