Addressing the fall-out of his paternity scandal for the first time on The Kardashians, Tristan Thompson revealed his true feelings for Khloé Kardashian on Wednesday’s episode.
Thompson, who plays for the NFL team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and shares two children with the Good American co-founder, became embroiled in a scandal after it was revealed that he had welcomed a son named Theo with Maralee Nichols in late 2021, during the time in which he and Kardashian were preparing to welcome their second child via surrogate together.
‘I think going down this journey that I've been on right now, especially what happened to my mum, I always ask myself, “Why do certain things to hurt certain people?”’ Thompson tells Kardashian. ‘I think the thing that always sticks to my mind, it's like, I know how much I care about you, I know how much I love you. You're my best friend. I meet my person—how come I've done so much wrong things to them? Why put you through that?’

Kardashian and Thompson were first spotted together in August 2016 after being set up on a surprise blind date by their mutual friend, Brandon Jennings.
