Wimbledon is finally here and one question on everyone’s lips – apart from whether we’ll see another Carlos Alcaraz triumph this year – is which royals will be in attendance at the Championships.

‘We're hopeful that the Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as the Club's patron, but her health and recovery is the priority,’ she told the publication. ‘We don't know what we don't know. All we've said is that we'll work with her and give her as much flexibility as possible.’

As a result, the publication reported that officials haven’t yet decided who will present the trophies until the morning of the finals. This responsibility normally falls on Kate Middleton.

The tennis tournament would mark the second time the public would’ve seen the Princess this year since she took time out of the spotlight following her cancer diagnosis in March.

Last month, the mother-of-three made a surprise appearance at the Trooping the Colour, but the Palace reminded supporters that her attendance at the celebrations wasn’t an official return to royal duties.

‘Her next goal is... to attend the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Law Tennis Club starting July 1,’ Fordwich told Fox News Digital last week. ‘As the most avid tennis fan and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, she usually attends in the Royal Box to watch most major matches, later handing out trophies to winners.’
