Meghan Markle has handwritten a note to a podcaster who expressed fear for the Duchess of Sussex before the premiere of her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan.

Amanda Hirsch, who hosts the hit podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, commented on Markle's Instagram post in which she shared the trailer for her series. Hirsch's comment read: 'You guys I'm scared for Meghan.'

Taking to her Instagram stories on March 19, Hirsch shared the provenance of her original comment. 'Remember I said I was scared for Meghan's new show and the possible hate she would get bc for some reason ppl wanna hate on her about everything?' Hirsch wrote on her story.

In a follow-up story showing the letter, Hirsch said Meghan could now consider her a 'fan for life.'

'Like, obviously framing this,' Hirsch wrote. 'Beyond shook. Beyond spiralling. Did I smell the paper? Yes! Do I want my own monogram? Yes. Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed. F---. YES.'
