Britney Spears has raised eyebrows after taking to Instagram to tease a new 'beautiful baby girl' in her life named Lennon London Spears this week. What exactly, Spears-philes have asked, could it mean for the star?
Well, it appears that all is not quite as it seemed. While the star's caption was interpreted as the star suggesting that she'd adopted a baby girl, that's not exactly the case — Spears' admission was actually just a harmless joke, per E! News.
Among her caption, in which Spears wrote about her workout and teased a potential move to Italy, wrote, 'I want you let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl [sic] !!! Her name is Lennon London Spears [sic] !!!'

While Spears doesn't actually appear to have adopted a 'beautiful baby girl', she has reconnected with her youngest son, 19-year-old Jayden. The mother and son’s apparent reunion began in December, when Spears shared a video with Jayden, at the time saying it was the first time she’d seen him in almost three years.
'He came back and he feels older and smarter than me,' Spears wrote in her December 31 Instagram post. 'He’s a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is !!! When he plays the whole earth shakes !!!'
She also spoke to the bond they share. 'Mine forever,' Britney wrote. 'It’s weird we’re like twins but he’s a boy and I’m a girl !!!'
Britney Spears' two sons, Sean and Jayden, moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, in the summer of 2023. This move occurred after Spears 'consented' to the relocation in May 2023, according to People.com.
